Sometimes you’re out of the one thing you need… or it’s late at night after the store has closed when you have the hunger for a certain thing – or if you’re like me the nearest grocery store is WAY to far away… so now here are a few solutions that just might help you get through.  In no particular order… ingredient substitutions:

  • 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup equals 1 cup white sugar dissolved in 1/2 cup water.
